The following sizes are based on petite body measurements. We fit all of our clothing on a petite fit model. Our styles will likely fit best on petite women who are between 4'11" and 5'4" and our first collection was fit on a model who is 5'1".

Since Pro Hac Vice is a small business, we are currently offering a more curated range of sizes. We'd love to be able to expand our size range, but given the costs associated with having a large size range - at the moment, that isn't the right move for us.

That said - we plan to iterate based on customer feedback and if you don't see your size and really wish it were here, drop us a line and let us know. Our initial research found the most interest came from petite women at the smaller end of the petite size spectrum; however, we'd love to create more sizes if there is enough interest. Our ultimate goal is to have more inclusive size offerings.

The Dahlia Petite Dress fits closer to the body with the bodice’s corset-inspired details while the skirt has a floaty feel.

All models pictured are 5'4 and under. Our designs were fit on a petite fit model who is 5'1, so our dresses also fit women on the shorter end of petite sizing.

Our Dahlia Dresses are made out of the most luxurious 100% silk crepe de chine – perfect for a hot summer day in NYC. Forget fabrics that leave you feeling sweaty and congested in the city – it is all about light, luxe, and fresh.

Further, our aim is to create petite clothing that lasts. You can help us by properly caring for your new dress.

Since Dahlia is 100% silk, she’s dry clean only.

If she wrinkles a bit, we recommend gently steaming which will help the wrinkles to fall out.

This style was designed, developed, and produced in small quantities in New York City by a women-led design team and factory

We'd wear Dahlia to a summer evening garden party at the Frick or dressed down with a lightweight denim jacket or leather jacket for cooler nights on the Lower East Side. We'd wear this dress with a sky-high platform shoe or a tougher boot.
